Yet again I opted to receive the featured box for my September Birchbox. But in my defense it’s the Customer Favorites, so all the samples are loved by us!
There was not one product that I got this month that I hated.
And honestly even just getting one of them would have made the Customer Favorites box well worth it.
OK, except for maybe the Hello by Harvey Prince fragrence sample.
I don’t hate it, but I don’t love. I’ve gotten it before and just don’t get why other customers like it so much. It smells nice, but in my opinion it isn’t strong enough and fades too quickly.
Marcelle eyeliner is another sample I’ve tried via Birchbox in the past, but this one I love!
Just enough shimmer to look iridescent with looking too glittery (not that there’s really a such thing). I was more than happy to try a different shade.
Speaking of love. Beauty Protector is a brand I discover through Birchbox. The detangling spray was one of my first ever Birchbox purchases. Their products smell divine and are enough to make me forget being so over shampoo and conditioner samples…
When I said even just one sample would have made this month’s box worth it for me, I was referring mainly to the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I wanted this sample SO badly when I started Birchbox. After not getting it a few times, I completely caved and just bought the entire set.
And later some extra muslin clothes.
I really just wanted the sample for travel purposes.
Taking a break from feature boxes next month, can’t wait to find out what samples will go with the mascara I chose…
