Not that this is official or anything, but I noticed that my October loves are really tied into some of the obsessions that I have.
One brand, other than Zara, that you will find that I have a lot of is Baggu. That’s because I really like what they stand for and I’m all for shopping small. My luck after this past Mercury retrograde paid off in a Poshmark photo challenge on Instagram. I won an $150 credit and, as you hopefully know by now, patience is not my virtue. I scored the bag for $90. It’s no tote, but I needed a smaller everyday bag. And because I got the cross body bag, I couldn’t not spend the Birchbox points I had been trying to save up on a matching pouch, which I’m going to be using as a wallet.
Another Poshmark score was this banana phone case. Now, I’m not exactly crazy about bananas. I do like them, but the taste of banana flavored taffy or popsicles makes me gag, but I am obsessed with Sonix and the super cute cases that they make. Plus, $20 for a phone case that goes for over $30? Yes, please!
I don’t generally eat chocolate. There are like two chocolate things that I like. Kit Kat bars and Oreos. That’s basically it. The cream is my least favorite part of the Oreo, double stuffed isn’t for me, but Oreo thins with an ice cold glass of milk are the ideal Bethany snack. The down side is that I can legit devour one pack in less than a day…
When in comes to jewelry, while I do love a good statement piece, my personal style is a little less understated. The first jewelry purse I made for good quality jewelry was after seeing a Lucky deal at Sunchild for Catbird rings. I worn them every day, until I moved from Vermont. And that’s only because I couldn’t find where I’d packed them.
My obsession with these flats is not so much the flats themselves, but the fact that the manfriend surprised me with them. He started working outside of Boston and when he came to visit/let me use his car for the weekend, he had these packed with his clothes! Granted, I had mentioned that I wanted them, and hinted that they would look super cute with the outfit that I had picked out to wear for Monarch Workshop, but to be honest I thought it was just wishful thinking. I love him. He’s the best.
Oh and don’t worry, I found the rings.
Don’t you just love me? Prove it on
