Gifting Partnership Opportunities with Brands Available on ShopMy

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

While I don’t know exactly how many of you reading this actively follow my blog, I’m sure that some of you are fellow content creators looking to work with brands. There are many different ways that creators can collaborate with brands, and one is gifted partnership opportunities. I know the goal is to get paid, but hear me out!

When you’re first starting out, or trying to cultivate a relationship with a brand, gifting partnerships can be ideal. I don’t always recommend working for product, because that won’t pay your bills. However, you can turn those gifted products into cash, using affiliate links. I’ve talked about this before, and use multiple networks, but I have had the most success with fashion giftings through ShopMy.

Most recently, I’ve been able to partner with clothing brands like Favorite Daughter (the matching vest and pants, as shown above), Clare V., Margaux, and AYR (the dress from my previous blog post, that I can’t stop wearing and a pair of jeans). And others, like Mille and UNTUCKit, have even given me discount codes to share with all of you. This is even more so the case when it comes to beauty and skincare brands.

If you have any questions about getting brand partnership opportunities or affiliate links, please feel free to ask them in the comments! And if you’re interested in giving ShopMy a try, you can do so using my referral link. If you do join, we both earn an additional 10% on all our earnings for 6 months. Let’s monetize those product recommendations!

The Everyday Summer Style Essentials That I Can’t Recommend Enough

I love the summer and being out in the sun, but this heatwave has been giving extra and it is just too hot! On those too hot to handle days, it’s a good idea to have everyday summer style essentials that make getting dressed easy.

An Easy Everyday Summer Dress

Think something you can literally just throw on and go! For me that was the Skims Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress (which I own in black and white, and found a similar one from Few Moda for under $50). And yes, you read that right, was. I still love that dress but the AYR The Everywhere dress in Beach Glass Stripe has been my more recent favorite go-to summer dress. UPDATE: It looks like my AYR dress is no longer available, however, I also love this one!

Nude Flip Flops

The TKEES Lily Nudes flip flops have been one of my best buys this year. They go with everything, since they match your skin, and look more chic than your typical flip flops. The brand also has lots of other sandals that give a more elevated vibe, while still being a good simple yet versatile sandal.

Go-To Tote Bag

One brand that I love and am a long time fan of is Clare V. Getting to partner with them through the ShopMy affiliate network, was literal goals for me. Of the bags they’ve gifted me, their Sandy Tote makes not only the best beach bag, but honestly I use it far more often than I believed I would.

A Pair of Sunglasses

Sunglasses are a given, especially when the sun is shining bright! I tend to hoard them, and love a good designer pair. That said, I always have a pair from AIRE on hand. I have two that I love, the Monoceros in Vintage Tort & Sky Blue Tint and the Whirlpool Sunglasses in Black & Tan Tint. The latter pair are a fan favorite for those who are already familiar with the brand.

SPF

Aside from those I cannot recommend a good sunscreen. Not style or fashion related, I know, but no summer look should see the light of day without one. I really love the brand Vacation for it’s vintage inspired branding. Plus, it smells so good that I even bought the candle version!

What are your summer style essentials?

My Summer Fashion Purchases and Shopping Ideas Under $500

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted, and even more so since I’ve shared my recent buys. Obviously I’ve been shopping, so I wanted to share some of my most recent summer fashion purchases.

Cult Gaia Jenise Knit Mini Dress

Even though it’s officially summer now, and the trend seems to be moving from pastels to brighter more bold colors, I couldn’t stop thinking about the Staud light pink cardigan sweater I tried on at Saks back in late March. This heatwave won’t allow me to wear it yet, but I’m sure it’ll come in handy for cooler summer days/nights or anywhere the AC is blasting.

Speaking of pastels, butter yellow is having a moment and I jumped on that trend with a little yellow Ronny Kobo crop top from Revolve. I didn’t get the matching skirt or cardigan. That said, they are both on my want list. For now I plan to style the top with light wash denim shorts and again with white trousers.

I haven’t felt like wearing heels at all recently and my go-to sneakers don’t always feel like the right move. When I need to go out, I found myself reaching for my nude Tkees sandals so much, that I decided to get a dressier black pair. I also have the white square toe flip flops in my cart, but I’m holding off for a bit.

Recently, I went on an Influencer trip to Nantucket and managed to spend money. Specifically at Olivela, on a Cult Gaia dress from their summer exclusive pop-up collection. What I like about Olivela is that 20% of the net proceeds from every purchase goes to support CARE.

To say I’m obsessed with all of my summer fashion buys would be an understatement. I regret nothing.

How to Care for Your Pores with The POREfessionals

As a huge fan of proper skincare (with the occasional slip up, because nobody’s perfect), I love a double cleanse after a long day with a full face of makeup. While I have several brands that I reach for, Benefit Cosmetics is top tier and affordable!

In case you didn’t know this already, Benefit is more than just brows. They make my favorite bronzer and go to waterproof mascara, as well as the blush I’ve been wearing on repeat lately. That said, they are also The POREfessionals and know a thing or two about how to care for your pores.

Scrub Daddy sponge and Benefit Cosmetics cleanser from their Benefit Club Pink

If you haven’t tried anything from their Pore Care line outside of their primer or setting spray, here are some of my top recommendations.

Get Unblocked

The reason I love a double cleanse system is the oil based cleanser you start with. This makeup-removing cleansing oil really breaks down makeup and dirt! And I cannot recommend following up with a gel or foaming cleanser enough.

Tight ‘n Toned

A pore-refining AHA+PHA toner that foams to gently exfoliate skin and make your pores look smaller and your skin smoother.

Deep Retreat

My current go-to clay mask! It’s purple which is cute and comfortably unclogs pores and makes masking fun.

Honestly any product from their collaboration with Scrub Daddy (yes, the sponge brand) would make an ideal addition to your skincare routine to help care for your pores. Since the collaboration mini set is sold out, I’ve also linked to a makeup eraser alternative that I have, use, and love!

The Greatest Gift Idea for Mother’s Day and More!

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

Mother’s Day is this weekend and you probably already have purchased any gifts that you may need. But on the chance that you haven’t or really just need a gift idea for any future upcoming events or holidays, I always recommend the Our Place Always Pan. Like always, for everything. I have their pan, pot, bakeware set, and even some of their tableware!

And if you do need a last minute Mother’s Day gift, you can always get a gift card.

During my quick trip to LA, I may have stopped into the Our Place store by Glossier on Melrose (Glossier post potentially coming soon…) and learn even more about their offerings and deepened my love for the brand.

Reason I love Our Place

  1. The Our Place Always Pan. I don’t love to cook, but after cooking the last thing I want to do is scrub dirty dishes. The Aways Pan is dishwasher safe. Need I say more?
  2. Short Night + Day Glasses. Sometimes it’s the simple things and the fact that this glasses are stackable is just something that can’t be overlooked or undervalued. Especially if you live in a tiny apartment with little to no cabinet space.
  3. The Bakeware Set. Specifically the included oven mat. In addition to being dishwasher safe, this eliminates the need for foil and I’m here for that kind of sustainability.
  4. Appliances. Now this is new territory for me, as I didn’t know Our Place made appliances. But apparently they have options from a blender to a 6-in-1 air fryer/toaster oven. My mind was blown!
  5. Titanium. New to the Always Pan collection is the Titanium Always Pan Pro, which is nonstick and coating-free. I really just loved how pretty and professional it looked. And you can also get it in a bundle.

AND Our Place is currently having their annual Spring Sale! Get up to 40% off sitewide! You are welcome.

The Current Best Fragrances for Spring

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

There are two types of people. Ones who change up the fragrance they wear by season, and the ones who don’t.

best fragrances

Regardless of which of those people you are, here are my current favorite fragrances of some of the best fragrances for spring.

Yves Saint Laurent Beaute Black Opium Eau de Parfum

Black Opium Eau de Parfum has been my personal go to fragrance this season. The subtle coffee notes are energizing without being overpowering. It’s flirty and floral, I love it! If you’re looking for a bolder scent I also enjoy their Black Opium le Parfum, which is a deep vanilla scent.

NEST New York Turkish Rose Perfume Oil

I swear I love all of the NEST New York perfume oils, but in my opinion, the Turkish Rose is my favorite for spring. It’s floral, rosy and elevates my mood instantly. That said, I will switch this out for Seville Orange in the summer.

Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum

After attending the Parada pop-up at NYFW last year, I instantly fell in love with both Paradoxe Eau de Parfum and Paradoxe Intense Eau de Parfum. When you layer them together this are the epitome of perfection.

Glossier You

If I could only pick on scent for everyone to wear all the time, regardless of season, it would have to be Glosser You. It’s warm yet sheer in a way that makes it next level personal.

Snif Coco Shimmy

Coco Shimmy is a new fragrance and honestly probably less of a spring and more of a summer fragrance. However, I’ve been ready for summer since this past fall, and when I close my eye and sniff, I am teleported to the closest rooftop pool. I usually shy away from other similar scents, as they tend to smell overly sugary. Snif trulyt nailed the beach vibes with this one!

Do you have a fragrance you love for spring, or are you more of a same scent all year person? Either way, I’d love to know your favorite fragrances, and find out if you share any of the same as mine.

Best Budget Friendly Wedding Guest Dresses For Under $200

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

It is officially wedding season and if you’ve been invited to a wedding, you’re going to need a dress.

The hunt to find the perfect wedding guest dress can be a daunting one. So let me help you!

I recently attending a friend’s wedding in Los Angeles and the dress code was ‘Fancy Fun’. While I don’t know what that is supposed to mean, I ended up wearing what I feel like most wedding guests do. A floral dress. Spring. Groundbreaking. I know.

Now had the wedding been more formal or black tie, I more than likely would have went with some variation of black slip dress.

I’ve had some pretty amazing success finding some quality wedding guest dresses from three particular retailers. Here are my top picks for where to find the best budget-friendly wedding guest dresses.

Few Moda

Few Moda is a members only club. After you pick a plan, you gain access to shop for up to 80% less than traditional retail! I especially love that you can get dresses (and other pieces) from the same manufactures as beloved designer brands, like Zimmerman, Reformation, Ulla Johnson, the list goes on.

SHOP FEW MODA

Abercrombie & Fitch

I’ve loved Abercrombie & Fitch since as long as I can remember. But it wasn’t until more recently that I’ve come to find them to be a reliable wedding guest dress resource. They even now have a wedding guest dress section on their website! The most popular styles tend to sellout quicker than I care for, but you can always find a true gem.

SHOP ABERCROMBIE & FITCH

Revolve

As problematic as this love to hate it/hate to love it brand can be, please just hear me out. They’ve got great dress options from some amazing brands. It’s also worth noting that they are the easiest retailer to shop when you have a specific dress in mind. And if you’re not concerned about the budget-friendly part, they have some designer dreams as well.

SHOP REVOLVE

I sincerely hope that if you are in need of a new wedding guest dress, or even just need some inspo, that you found this somewhat helpful. If you still need some help or have any questions, please let me know in the comments!

The NEW Reebok X Anine Bing Collaboration Collection in Store on Melrose

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

There are very few brand collaborations that speak directly to my soul. One such being the Reebok x Anine Bing collaboration.

As a Boston influencer (or blogger, or whatever you want to call me), I obviously have strong ties with Reebok, and seeing them work with one of the brand of one of my longtime favorite fashion influencers is a dream that I didn’t even know I had. Ironically, I got to check out the collection for myself while I was in Los Angeles for a friend’s wedding.

Stopping in the Anine Bing store on Melrose was not on my Bingo card for this year, especially now that there is a Boston location on Newbury Street. But, it felt like it would be a missed opportunity to not visit one of my favorite brands in such an iconic spot. I mean, who wouldn’t want to go shopping on Melrose?!

I didn’t try on anything but was excited to see the Reebok x Anine Bing pieces IRL and up close. I’m still deciding what exactly I want to get from the collaboration collection, but I did snag the Kate Tote which ended up being the perfect personal item for my return flight. It fit everything from my neck pillow and snacks to my travel wrap and Airpods Max headphones!

In addition to the collaboration collection, I found some other Anine Bing items that caught my eye, so an Anine Bing want list blog post may have to happen soon. Which Anine Bing pieces do you want? Anything from the Reebok collab?

How to Shop Luxury for Less

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.

Luxury doesn’t have to be about being rich or logos, which we’ve learned from the era of quite luxury. However, sometimes that’s what we want!

Here’s two ways to shop luxury for less, whether you want to look rich or feel like you are.

Luxury Resale

I never saw myself as a much of a designer girl, but there are some bags that are too good to not want. However, if you’ve seen me post a new bag on social media, just know that I probably did not pay full retail price for it. While I don’t have a closet full of designer bags, I have been fortunate to track down a few I’d really wanted via luxury resale.

And in case you think you don’t know what that is, if you’ve heard of Rebag or Fashionphile, then you know. I own a Celine Nano Luggage, a mini Chanel Handle with Care Vanity Case, and a Chole Mini Vanity C Bag. All of which I really wanted and was able to find in great condition and under $2000. So, if you’re looking for a specific bag, I recommend shopping secondhand first.

Discounted Designer

While this may sound like shopping designer sales, that’s not exactly what I mean. Try shopping stores like TJ Maxx (The Runway section specifically), Saks off 5th, Nordstrom Rack, The Outnet, etc.

This method of shopping luxury for less requires a bit more effort, but when you find something splurge-worthy for a fraction of the cost, it’s so worth it! I will forever cherish my fur lined Gucci Princetown slides that I found at the Wrentham Premium Outlets Saks off 5th.

Which of these two ways to shop for luxury goods do you prefer? Let me know if you want to see any of my discounted designer picks!
