As much as I love lipstick, I have to admit that I don’t wear it very often. I tend to put it on and overthink about how it looks a little too over the top. So, I wipe it off and throw on a more natural looking lipgloss.

This is especially the case with hot pinks.

So I wasn’t exactly as thrilled as I expected to be when I saw that the colors included were Fuchsia and Rose Stiletto.

After swatching both colors I actually really like the Fuchsia color, but the Stiletto Rose was a little light for my complexion.

The shades may not have been my favorite colors, but the quality of the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture lipstick is undeniable. Smooth, not too vibrant.

I will find an occasion to wear both of these, so help me.

And even if I don’t, they look too pretty on my vanity!
