Halloween is this weekend and I have been trying to figure out what I want to be. At the same time, spending money on a costume is not an option.
Don’t ask me why, but I already have tons of costumes.
This year, I wanted to use what I have to be something different…
I used cat ears and dark angel wings to make a Pegasus costume! (Think a unicorn, minus the horn, plus wings.)
Majestic, right?
And of course no DIY costume is complete without Halloween makeup.
Here’s what I used:
Benefit Cosmetics Ultra Plush Lip Gloss in Sugarbomb, Sephora Collection Long-Lasting Eye Liner, Maybelline Master Kajal Eyeliner in Onyx Rush, Urban Decay Electric Eye Shadow Palette, Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Potion Mascara Waterproof in Blackest Black, Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner in Silver, and e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder. Not shown: Smashbox Liquid Halo HD Foundation in 09.
Not only was this a great excuse to use my Electric Palette again, but I found a Halloween costume that’s perfect for me and I didn’t have to spend a single penny.
Looking for a last-minute costume and don’t have cat ears or angel wings, but don’t want to buy them? I don’t blame you, DIY them using tutorials I found here and here.
Already have a costume? What are you going to be for Halloween?
