I recently had to pleasure of joining Shopbop in Martha’s Vineyard for a dinner at The Pelican Club in Edgartown, MA with Staud to celebrate their pop-up. Not only did they dress me for this event, but it was my first time visiting Martha’s Vineyard. While I’ve been to Nantucket a number of times.
The pop-up itself was at The Sydney Hotel and featured fun activations from brands like Parke and Hill House Home throughout the weekend.
If you missed the pop-up don’t worry, you can still shop them online.
If you don’t know who BTS is at this point, I don’t know what to tell you. Your loss, I guess. But there’s a reason they are the American Music Awards Artist of the Year. And they are bringing the BTS World Tour: Arirang to Boston! Well, Foxborough at Gillette Stadium. And honestly, for me, that is the best case scenario. My Army Bomb BTS Official Lightstick is SO ready.
Whether you’re going to the concert or just a big time BTS fan, also known as Army, you probably want the one of the Arirang Tour Member Jerseys. I did, but the idea of waiting in line at an ungodly hour to maybe not even get one isn’t for me (I did it once for Labubus and never again). So unless I decide to buy from a reseller at a huge markup, I won’t be getting one. However, through the power of social media I got an idea. That is, if you want to style a jersey for the tour, and are okay with it not being that jersey.
At the Vegas stop, some of the members donned this black NFL jersey with their name and birth year on it. And you can too!
I’m no Las Vegas Raiders fan (GO PATS), and chances are you aren’t either (I think maybe my nephew still is, because he liked their colors). But you can customize a team jersey by selecting a number and name. So for my favorite BTS member, or my bias, I would enter 97 and Jung Kook. And BOOM!
Now by no means is this a proper dupe for the tour jersey, but it is a respectable alternative that I thought of and immediately had to share.
Pair it with baggy denim shorts and you’ve got the perfect Arirang Tour concert outfit. What do you think?
If you decided to do this, please let me know. I’d love to see how you style it!
LoveShackFancy is now open in Boston. More specifically, Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts at The Street. Officially opening their doors today, just in time for festival season.
I got to check out the newest LoveShackFancy location yesterday prior to the grand opening and everything about it is a pretty as you would imagine, if you are at all familiar with the brand.
And of course I now have an even longer list of things I want from LoveShackFancy!
For starters, things I already wanted include the infamous Stanley tumbler and crocs, because who doesn’t love a brand collaboration that evokes whimsy?
After checking out the new arrivals in store, here’s what I really want to add to my closet for spring.
Impossible not to want this classic piece, especially now that there’s a Boston one. Love the color and feel like I need this to represent. Paired with a little ruffle mini skirt? Too cute!
I’ve been on the hunt for a new denim jacket and this one was perfection. I love how the lace appliqué makes it unique, sure to stand out in crowd. If there was one piece I’d have to have for festival season, this would probably be it. I’d for sure pair it with a nice breezy mini dress.
This dress caught my eye the second I walked into the store. The color, the lace, the buttons, everything about it subtly screams LoveShackFancy in the best possible way. I would try to dress it down with boots, just so I could wear it literally everywhere.
Ok now this is the top of my dreams. I could picture myself treating Coachella like my very own personal runway in this styled with either lace jeans or the matching skirt (because you already know I’m a sucker for a matching set)!
I love the LoveShackFancy woven bracelets, so for all my Boston babes, I’m excited to report that (at least in store) there is now a Boston specific one. Alternatively, this bow one is also super cute.
Spotted this scarf in store, loved it, picked it up, didn’t get it. SO MUCH REGRET. Later I fell down a rabbit hole of all things Chan Luu and I fear I will be going back to get it, one way or another.
Did you know that LoveShackFancy was coming to Boston? How excited are you about this new location? I know I can’t wait to shop at The Street again and soon!
New York Fashion Week is something that I have always wanted to experience. I don’t know what exactly had stopped me in the past, but I made the commitment to myself to attend. So I did.
While I am very glad that I went, I wish I had done things a little differently. And come September, I plan to. While there things I’d do over if I could, one thing I would not was deciding to wear a band tee. I dressed it up with high heeled booties and layered it with a J.Crew coat, but made sure to stay true to my style.
Here’s a few things that I plan to change up:
Plan ahead. Being in New York for Fashion Week is one thing. Next time I want to immerse myself. Attend presentations, shows, really be a part of it.
Stay a while. One day put a lot of pressure on getting things right, and essentially caused me to fail. Having a hotel or somewhere nearby to stay will take away some of that pressure. I would have the option to change clothes, or even rest for a bit, if needed.
Bring friends. Traveling alone can be great. Most of the time, I actually prefer it. However, NYFW is something that would be way more fun of an experience when shared.
I will also say, that this was probably the first and last time I will attend in February. A cold and wet Bet is a very unhappy, all but crying in the back of a taxi Bet. Have you ever been to NYFW? Are you planning to go? I want to know, so share in the comments here or on Instagram!
New York Fashion Week may be over but with Club Monaco’s New York Fashion Week Collection, you make every day NYFW. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I attended their shopping event with Leslie Musser of One Brass Fox at the Prudential Center.
1. The one thing I had to try on was the Colema Cold Shoulder Sweater. It comes in black and pink, I ended up falling hard for the black one. It’s the right amount of edgy and trendy, without being too over the top.
2. If I were going to go over the top, I spotted the perfect pair of Loeffler Randall heels that would do the trick! Coming in at just under $400, I had to pass on them, but there are definitely on my want list.
3. Deciding to try on a few sale sweaters was a good life choice. The Flutterby Ruffle Sweater was a pretty sweet alternative to the cold shoulder sweater for about $70 cheaper.
4. There was also the Ellodie Sweater, which was another cheaper, but still very on trend option.
5. The sweater I told myself that I was going to buy regardless, was the Mackenzie Stripe Sweater. It’s on sale for $69 and I have this thing with stripes. It would have been perfect, but I couldn’t find it and wanted to try it on first.
Even though I ended up leaving without making a purchase, the event was worth attending and I will be back to shop later on!
One of my favorite things about blogging is connecting with other bloggers. When we can come together and collaborate with a brand we all love? Even better.
The event will be this Thursday, October 6th from 6PM – 8PM at Madewell Newbury, located at 329 Newbury Street, Boston, Massachusetts. Whether you’re in need of new jeans, boots, or sweaters for this fall, you definitely want to pop into Madewell for this event.
Not really looking for anything specific for the season?
That’s fine! You can still come by to see the three of us for some fall style tips, and check out Madewell’s newest fall arrivals. While you’re there you can enjoy some snacks (and sips), and enjoy 20% off your purchase of $125 or more!

Thanks to the Her Campus InfluenceHer Collective, I was able to attend the College Fashion Week fashion show!
I’m pretty that this was the first event that I had ever attended where there was a VIP seat reserved for me with my name on it.
When I arrived at Space 57 and checked in, I was greeted with smiles, handed a press pass, and the most impressive goodie bag! You’ll definitely be seeing some of its contents in future blog posts. After the check in table, there was an exclusive CFW photo booth, custom sweets and, of course, a bar.
Then, once you walked into where the runway was located, were stations where guests could talk to the CFW brand partners. And more goodies! You could even get your eye brows shaped!
As for the fashion show itself, there were tons of looks presented by young up and coming designers. Maybe I’m just a sucker for the 80s, but the Bow and Drape portion was my favorite.

If you live in Boston (or even within driving distance) and you love fashion, but missed the Macy’s Fashion’s Front Row event in Downtown Crossing, don’t worry.
Tomorrow is College Fashion Week! The tickets don’t cost much at all. And you can get them here.
This is Her Campus Media’s fifth year of hosting College Fashion Week. The can’t miss fashion event will take place Saturday, September 24th from 6PM until 9PM at Space 57, and is to include four fashion shows with ten looks each, presented by young local emerging fashion designers. Such as, My Social Canvas, Foray, Ali & Ariel, Frill Clothing, and Bow & Drape. Networking opportunities with both other Boston fashionistas, as well as the many brands that have partnered with Her Campus Media to make this event possible.
Interested in knowing which brands? You can view the complete list of sponsors here.
I can’t even begin to tell you which one I’m most excited about, because I’m just that excited about them all!
I’ll be there the whole time, and I really looking forward to seeing some of you there. If you go (which you totally should), make sure to come up to me and say hi!
Seriously, the goody bags (which are included in the ticket price) will have over $900 worth of swag.
Can’t wait to share my recap of College Fashion Week afterwards. Stay tuned!

I may not be going to NYFW this year, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not getting my fashion fix.
Macy’s Fashion’s Front Row is bringing Fashion Week to Boston!
Get a preview of the latest Macy’s Fall Fashion looks from you favorite designers. One on one style advice from Macy’s pros. It’s supposed to be one of the biggest shopping parties of the season! Trust me, you won’t want to miss it. I know I don’t.
Have you ever went for a walk in the park, been handed free samples and urged to go to an event?
I honestly say that’s happened to me while walking in the Boston Public Garden. It might sound sketchy, but the samples were from Kiehl’s, so I wasn’t going to say no. And it was DJ Hustle Simmons handing them out, so I knew the event was going to be one I’d kick myself for not checking out!
The weather wasn’t the best, but the event was worth braving the down pour. I happened to have my camera and was lucky enough to get a few photos. I don’t know what exactly I was expecting, but the Kiehl’s LifeRide event had so much, and then some! The Kiehl’s CEO Chris Salagardo, celebrity influencers (actor Gilles Marini, YouTuber Amanda Ensing, model Carmen Carrera…), facials, cupcakes, motorcycles, and a Limited Edition Ultimate Strength Hand Salve, of which 100% of net profits up to $25,000 go to benefit amfAR to help fight HIV/AIDS.
