Christmas is without a doubt my favorite holiday.

There are so many traditions that I look forward to this time of year.

Putting up and decorating the Christmas tree. Holiday shopping and wrapping presents. Listening to Christmas music.

And making Christmas cookies.

This year the process got a whole lot prettier thanks to Designer Dwellings!

A mess was made, but it was contained to a beautifully hand painted cutting board.

For the most part…

My baking skills are minimal, so the cookies never really come out looking quite as nice as they do going into the oven.

But not that it matters, because the best part is eating them once they’ve all been frosted.

And look, I didn’t burn any!
At least not this time…
