Nordstrom Gift Ideas Under $100

When it comes to gifts, Nordstrom has way more than just clothes and beauty. I find myself turning to Nordstrom for most of my purchases throughout the year. And the holiday season is no different. Regardless of who you’re shopping for, chances are you can find them something that they’ll treasure at Nordstrom.

Stumped on what to get? Here are some gift ideas, and they all happen to be under $100!

Scented Candle

Candles are one of my absolute favorite gifts to give. The best are the ones that you can smell without even having to light, and the fact that you can reuse the vessel afterwards is a bonus gift! Still feel like you need a little something extra? Bundle it with a wick trimmer and candle snuffer.

Bluetooth Speaker

We got this Bose speaker for Christmas a few years ago and it’s still the one that we use the most. It’s small, so you can toss it into your bag when you’re on the go, but loud enough to make any room feel like a dance floor.

Scarf Watch Band

I’m fairly new to the Apple Watch club, but the basic watch band that it comes with just isn’t it for me. I really loved this fun colorful option, but if it’s not what you’re looking for, Nordstrom has options!

Sleep Mask

I swear by the Slip Silk Sleep Mask, and recommend it for everyone. Last year I lost mine after a flight, and immediately went and bought another one. Yes, it’s that good.

Skin Care Set

Even if you’re not sure what to gift someone, you really can’t go wrong with a skin care set. Especially during these times, everyone can use a little extra calm and self care.

Duffle Bag

Purses are something I prefer to gift myself, but when it comes to the gym or travel, I realized that I don’t usually think to buy a quality duffle bag. And I know I can’t be the only one.

Moccasin Slippers

Another Christmas gift that I’ve received and loved! These moccasins are my around the apartment slippers to stay cozy.

Face Mask Chains

Much like the Slip Sleep Mask, their silk face mask is amazing, so much so that I bought three different ones. I’m sure we all have our share of reusable face masks, but how about a face mask chain to elevate our new everyday essential?

Cashmere Scarf

In New England the temperature is dropping and snow is on the horizon. A scarf is such a classic gift to give, one that anyone can use to wear throughout the winter.

Record Player

Something about vinyl just makes me so happy, the sound, the nostalgia, I don’t know. But it’s great to have, and you can also gift it with a record or two.

No matter how long your list is, if you haven’t already, you really should sign up for The Nordy Club! Not only is it free to join, you earn points towards Nordstrom Notes when you shop, which you can use to spend with Nordstrom later. And don’t forget they also have free shipping and returns, as well as curbside pickup. Plus, for Cyber Monday get up to 50% off and an extra 25% off clearance!

Nordstrom Beauty Gift Sets

Can you believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving? Or that Christmas is only a month away? I know I sure can’t. If you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to start buying the gifts for everyone on your list. And if you have anyone who is beauty obsessed, Nordstrom has the best beauty gift sets from the best beauty brands, including some of my personal favorites!

I’m sure I’ve overshared how much obsessed with Fresh Beauty I am, and have even mentioned their products in other Nordstrom Beauty posts. I stan. They have some of the cutest holiday gift sets whether you’re looking for something to put in a stocking or under the tree

Briogeo is one of my go-to, Black female owned, haircare brands. I don’t know anyone who has tried their Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask and not absolutely loved it. With the Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-Exfoliating Shampoo, it’s such a great duo to gift!

I know we’re not going out as much or even at all really, and when we are, we’re staying face masked up. But, that doesn’t mean we aren’t taking care of our lips. I still wear lip gloss on Zoom calls and lip balm around at home. In addition to Fresh Beauty, Nordstrom has MAC Lipstick, Kiehl’s Lip Balm, and Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss sets, that I’d for sure be happy to receive.

If the beauty lover in your life is also a skincare product junkie, a few of my most used products are Mario Badescu Skincare facial spray, Kopari coconut oil deodorant, Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel, and Peter Thomas Roth Masks. All amazing sets that really anyone can appreciate.

Have you signed up for The Nordy Club yet? If not, you’re missing out. It’s free to join and you earn points towards Nordstrom Notes when you shop, which you can use to spend with Nordstrom later. They also have free shipping and returns as well as curbside pickup.

Happy gifting!

How I Started Blogging and How You Can Too!

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by ShopStyle Collective.

I started blogging in 2014. Almost 7 years ago now. I used my blog as a way to share my love of shopping, beauty, and style. But I’ve shared this story before.

What I haven’t touched on as much is how I got started. Like with anything you don’t know much about, I had to do a lot of research. I googled any and everything there was to learn about blogging and it’s different components. I found others who were already doing what I wanted to do and studied their content. From this I discovered the two things that essentially launched my current career: blog conferences and affiliate networks

Once I got started, I became enthralled with the world of blogging and social media. And quickly learned that I could monetize my various platforms through affiliate marketing. And just in case you didn’t already know, affiliate marketing is where you earn a commission for promoting the products you like.

While I do still get excited talking shop, teaching others how to blog is not my calling. In many ways I am still learning myself. However, something that I love about being an influencer through ShopStyle Collective is that they provide me with the resources I need to grow. And they have two different programs, depending on what level you’re. If you’re just starting out, I recommend their Standard program. Have questions or need help? They’ll even walk you through the application process!

I have been a ShopStyle Collective influencer since 2015, but once I decided to really get serious about blogging and utilize ShopStyle’s tools and sponsored campaign opportunities, I’ve since been able to become a full time content creator.

Getting into the Holiday Spirit

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle, and contains affiliate links.

If ever there was a year that we could all use a little more cheer, this is that year. I typically am not one to jump into the holiday season the day after Halloween, but decided to make an exception. My holiday candles are out and lit. I even swamped out my usual throw blanket, for a more festive one. And if you think I’m not playing Christmas music, then well, I just don’t know what to tell you.

Thankfully, Nordstrom has everything you need to get into the holiday spirit

Hot cocoa (or in my case, hot strawberry milk) and marshmallows are always better in a holiday themed mug. I’m not sure why, they just are.

Cozy throws in shades of reds, greens, and creams, scream Christmas, and as the snow falls, there’s no place I’d rather be than snuggled under one on my couch, while wearing my favorite sweater and coziest slippers.

Listening to my favorite holiday tunes feels far more nostalgic when coming from a record player. So set the needle and let it spin, while you let it take you to the North Pole.

And I know you know that Nordstrom has free shipping and returns as well as curbside pickup. And with The Nordy Club, you earn points for every dollar you spend and get exclusive access to specific brands. But did you also know that Nordstrom has pretty much everything you need to deck out your halls and help you get into the holiday spirit?

Are you team make your spirits bright or team not until after the turkey?

cabi Cardigans

Disclaimer: This post is in partnership with cabi.

It snowed. In New England. In October.

Not that it’s the end of the world or even all that shocking. It just leads me to believe that this winter is going to for sure be a cold one. Until then, fall will more than likely consist of unpredictable weather changes, keeping us on our toes.

But this year I’m ready for it!

Cabi’s Fall 2020 Collection included a really great selection of cardigans, which happen to be my most worn style of sweater. Since they’re perfect for layering and easy to take off, when you start to feel a little too warm, and if you are traveling, they’re the must have sweater to bring along.

I personally have three of the cabi cardigans, and each of them creates its own unique look when styled with the cabi high skinny jeans and a basic white top.

I’ve mentioned it before, but one of the things I love most about cabi, outside of the incredible community they have, is the quality of the pieces. And it is no different with each of these cabi cardigans. Which cabi cardigan is your favorite and how would you style it for fall?

Make sure to check out the cabi Fall 2020 Collection sweaters, for a few other cardigan styles!

Splurge Worthy Makeup Products

When it comes to makeup, I try not to spend a ton of money. I’d much rather invest in clothes and accessories. However, there are some beauty products that are worth every single penny.

Mascara will always and forever be the main product that I don’t even bother looking at the price, if it works well. I have long lashes but they’re thin and straight. So give me all the volume!

I may not have a Chanel bag in my closet (yet), but regardless of what bag I am carrying, it will have Le Volume De Chanel mascara in it.

Although I am starting to more so now, I don’t usually go for a bold lip. Since I don’t wear them often, people tend to notice when I do, so they have to look good! MAC Matte Lipstick is by far one of my favorite lip products, I’ve own a few different shades and recently (finally) tried Ruby Woo and Antique Velvet, which I will be wearing both frequently, especially this fall (yes, even under my mask). If you prefer a glossy lip, I like their Lipglass lipgloss as well.

Speaking of masks, they may not technically be a beauty product, but I recently switched to a silk pillowcase and it’s done wonders for my maskne. So I decided to add a silk mask to my growing collection of face masks as well. So far I really like it, and may need to get a few more!

After hearing so much about how good the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was, I knew that I needed to give it a try. I’m so glad that I did because I absolutely love it! I don’t wear it every day, but when I do wear it, applying it feels like such a treat. It really does glide on so smoothly.

There are still other beauty products that I love as well, but these have really exceeded my expectations. I’ll be using them with my staple brow and concealer products and honestly, they’ve helped motivate me to get up and going with my day more than a few times. Sometimes getting ready to some tunes is all you need!

What I love most is that I can find all of my beauty needs right at Nordstrom! They have free shipping and returns as well as curbside pickup. And with The Nordy Club, you earn points for every dollar you spend and get exclusive access to specific brands.

Have you been putting on makeup lately?

Fall Boot Must-Haves

Disclaimer: This post is sponsored by Nordstrom and ShopStyle, and contains affiliate links.

I know I already shared my fall must haves, but I wanted to get a little more specific. Yes, it’s sweater weather, but for me, fall really means boot season!

In addition to OTK boots and ankle boots, which are clearly my current fall closet footwear staples, there are two other pairs of boots that I feel are absolutely essential to keep in rotation as the temperatures start to drop.

Dress: Alice + Olivia | Boots: Dr. Martens | Necklace: Kate Spade

COMBAT BOOTS

90s grunge is trending in such a major way right now. As someone who definitely dresses more on the casual side, I’ve surprised even myself with the fact that I’ve never owned a pair of Dr. Martens before. I really like how solid they are and feel confident that they will do great in the snow, and from what I’ve heard they are super durable and last for years. I’m still getting comfortable with styling them but I’m so glad to finally have a pair. I’m even considering getting another pair in white.

Cardigan: Madewell | Jeans: Madewell | Boots: Ugg | Bag: Madewell | T-Shirt: Daydreamer | Earrings: Madewell (similar)

COMFY BOOTS

For the most part I’m still staying home. A pair of boots that I can either wear around my apartment or to quickly take out the dog are an absolute must for me. Yes, I have a pair of Birkenstocks for that, but the weather has been getting cooler, especially in the early morning and late at night, which is when I’m out with Koda. I now keep this pair of Ugg mini boots right by my entryway, so I can quickly slip them on and go! Unlike the Dr. Martens, this isn’t my first pair of Uggs. I also have a pair of black one, just not a pair of the Classic Mini boots. For cozy warm vibes these boots are perfection.

The best part of it all is that I’ve been able to find all my fall footwear at Nordstrom! They have free shipping and returns as well as curbside pickup. And with The Nordy Club, you earn points for every dollar you spend and get exclusive access to specific brands.

Which style of fall boots are you most excited to wear this season?

cabi Fall Style

Disclaimer: This post is in partnership with cabi.

I’ve styled a few cabi pieces here and there, but this season, I’m elated to share that I am officially an ambassador for cabi! I cannot wait to share the fall collection with you.

In case you’re not familiar with cabi, it is so much more than just a clothing brand. It’s a community.

Aside from the community aspect (more on that another time), something I love about cabi is the quality. So when I saw the Autumn dress, there was no question or doubt in my mind that I had to have it.

And if you saw my Instagram post about the Cheerful blouse and the Heart of cabi Foundation, you understand just how special cabi is. But also just how versatile their pieces are.

I’m wearing the Lennon jacket with both the Autumn dress and the Cheerful blouse with the Higher Straight jeans and I honestly could not tell you which look I love more!

4 Pieces, 4 Outfit Ideas

Lately I’ve found myself being more and more drawn to purchase matching sets. Especially skirt sets. I’ve owned one or two in the past, but now I’m practically craving them.

Aside from the fact that they look super cute, they mix and match so well.

Take this Abercrombie and Fitch (my number one source for sets at the moment) top and skirt.

So cute right?

Well, just throw a pair of jeans and a band tee into the mix and you’ve got yourself four completely different outfit ideas!

Which look is your favorite?

10 Reasons to Shop Nordstrom Made Brands During the #NSALE

Disclaimer: This post is in partnership with Nordstrom and ShopStyle, and contains affiliate links.

I’m still not over how good the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is! I’ve found all my fashion essentials for fall and with new deals daily, I find myself going back to shop it day after day. Which is why I’m so elated to be partnering with Nordstrom and ShopStyle again, to share my Nordstrom Made brand picks currently available as a part of the #NSALE.

Sale aside, I flat out adore Treasure & Bond. Of all the Nordstrom brands this one resonates with my soul on such a deep level. Classic cool girl style, with just the right amount of edge. I am especially a fan of their graphic tees. And if you’re looking for something that is both timeless and trendy, this is the brand I would search first. My first pick is the Treasure & Bond faux leather shirt. You better believe that this got added to my cart and purchased!

Fall for me is all about layering. I hate being cold, so stocking up on long sleeve shirts is a must. I like them to be a little on the fitted side so that I can wear a jacket or sweater over them, if I need to, no problem. My next pick is actually three picks because BP, Caslon, and Halogen, all have great options and all for under $20, so it was hard for me to pick just one.

While jewelry isn’t really what comes first to mind, when you think of style, I had to include these studs! I’d been looking for a pair that I could wear every day and these are exactly what I was hoping for. I’m wearing them in my second holes in the photos above and right now as I type this (and it’d be a safe bet that I also have them in as you’re reading this).

You’ll also notice the olive cardigan I’m wearing. It’s by BP and still available in three different colors. If you only get one thing this season, I highly recommend a sweater and this cardi is it. Not too thick or too thin and the quality is amazing.

Now, if you’re thinking you need footwear this upcoming season and not so much clothes, fair point. Here are four Nordstrom brand shoe choices: the Kallie Mule, the Aidy Water Resistant Wedge Sneaker, the Gabriella Chelsea Boot, and the Maya Mule

Just add a pair of jeans and you’re good to go!

And remember, Nordstrom has free shipping and returns as well as curbside pickup. Plus, The Nordy Club, with which you earn points for every dollar you spend and get exclusive access to specific brands.
