Baggu Basic Tote $160 | Old Navy Faux-Leather Tote around $20
Although I still have my heart set on one day owning the Baggu Basic Tote, I spotted the Old Navy tote in stores for like $8. I made a huge mistake and didn’t get it. Went home, suffered from a serious case of fomo, then went back later the same day to get it. It had been the last one and someone else beat me to it. (Add this to the list of reasons why I have trust issues…)
They had similar ones in bright colors that were a plastic-y material for $14, but after searching three different Old Navy’s I was able to find a canvas tall tote which was much closer to the style of the faux-leather tote and cost about the same.

Sorry you missed out on the one you wanted. How many times have I done that too?! But I’m glad you got the canvas one, probably even handier since you can wash it. What a deal!

Awwww that’s the worst!! Sorry you missed out. I almost always carry a cross body, since I like being hands free, but this looks like a great tote option!
Thanks Sammi, the hunt continues! I love cross body bags when I’m running a quick errand, but I always overstuff them. Haha!
I love when I spot a dupe, but I am SO like you — 9 times out of 10 I’ll talk myself out of it and then regret it before the day is over. My husband appreciates it (I don’t spend as much) but it IS really annoying! Especially on the occasions I come home, do some research, and realize what a prize I had in my hand!
What kills me is that the manfriend told me to get it, I didn’t listen. And I think it’s even sold out online. The worst! xx
