Summer Sweaters Because It’s Not Quite Yet Sweater Weather

I love summer and this one has been hot! It’s not quite yet over, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been wearing sweaters. Early mornings by the lake, ferry rides, and late nights on the beach. Any excuse to wear one of these summer sweaters I’ve been loving! Will I also wear them into fall? Obviously.

While on Martha’s Vineyard for the Shopbop pop-up my La Ligne sweater ended up over most my outfit most of the weekend. And for good reason! She’s thick enough to keep me warm on the windy ferry ride over, but airy enough to no have me breaking a sweat while walking around.

Similarly, my Boden sweater was a must pack for my weekend in New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee. I love it with denim shorts, but for the early mornings and late nights, I wore it with my Frank & Eileen sweatpants and over my denim dress.

If you’re looking for a summer sweater than can transition seamlessly into the fall, I can’t recommend either of these enough.

Clare V. is Popping Up in Boston!

We love a pop-up! At least I know I do. Clare V. is popping up in Boston. And when a brand I love hosts another brand I love, it just doesn’t get much better.

Clare V. the brand of some of my absolute favorite bags is popping up at La Ligne the brand of the sweater I practically wore all through spring. This Thursday, June 4th and Friday, June 5th over on Newbury Street.

I have had my Clare V. fold over clutches for years (literally over 10), and adore their simple tote! I style mine with one of their adjustable crossbody straps.

While I don’t know exactly what this pop-up will entail, I for sure plan to pop in and check it out. I mean not that I need an excuse to check out La Ligne and see their new collection in person, but having one certainly doesn’t hurt!

And of course while I’m on Newbury, I have a long list of other stores I want to stop in, like Anine Bing and MZ Wallace (I love my micro crossbody bag, and might need it in another color).

It’s been a bit since I walked Newbury Street, so if I see any new noteworthy stores, you can expect to hear about it.
