Finding The Fragrance For You

Scent is like taste and not everything that everyone likes will be for you. Finding the fragrance for you, can take time and money. An easy was to offset the financial side of things (and even some time), is to try discovery sets.

Cayla Gray

I have fragrances I love that just don’t fit the vibe I’m going for sometimes. Being able to try a variety of scents quickly, helps to narrow that down. Discovery sets really come in clutch for this. A fairly new brand Cayla Gray, recently scent me their discovery set and I immediately fell in love with their scent Slumber. I low key knew that I might, as I love the scent of lavender to almost a fault. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, but here we are.

Discovery sets are also a really great way to find your personal scent. They allow you to experiment with layering various fragrances until you find a combination that really works for you.

This is not at all to say don’t try perfumes that pique your interest.

Future Society

I love the brand Future Society for various reasons, including being both Boston and science based. Their newest scent is Cloud Reverie which is literally crafted with actual cloud microbes gathered from the sky. That’s so freaking cool! However, it’s not included in their discovery set. And I have reason to believe that they’ll be launching a new rain inspired scent very soon!

In addition to perfume, Future Society has candles I love, body cleanser and cream, as well as a limited edition hair mask in collaboration with K18. One of my faves!

Another fave, that I can’t recommend enough, for too many reasons to get into, is their fragrance primer. It helps any fragrance last so much longer.

NOYZ

A few other scents that you may not be familiar with are two that I been using from Noyz. The names are fun and creative, so I highly suggest reading the descriptions and fragrance notes. The two I’ve been using are Only Human and their newest scent, Rinse Cycle. Again the new one is not included in their discovery set. It’s worth noting that I do use Only Human more often which is. And if you prefer solid fragrances over perfumes or mists, they have those as well.
