Agnes & Dora Dolman Top

We’re back!

Each month myself and four other boss blogger babes will style the same piece of clothing and since we all look and think differently from each other (hair, religion, location, skin, size, height, style…all of the above), you’ll get five totally different looks. How adorbs is this Agnes & Dora Pocket To Me dolman top? It’s striped, which I love and has a super cute floral patterned pocket!

While there are tons of ways you can wear a dolman top, I’m rather partial to pairing this one with black skinny jeans or leggings.

Since the shirt has the stripes and floral thing going on, I kept my jewelry very minimal.

Just one piece.

A sentimental silver charm bracelet that both my younger sister and I got as Christmas presents from our older sister.

The younger one wanted matching tattoos, but I like matching bangles better…

As for shoes, I wanted to get as many wears out of these cutout booties as I can, before it starts to really snow.

And we’ll be back with another Styled by 5 next month, well sort of…

Vintage Inspired Outfit

One of the many many many perks of Monarch Workshop, is a mini headshot session with the wondrously talented Victoria Gloria.

This time around, I knew that I wanted photos that were a little more unique…

Victoria, being as amazing and spectacular as she is, took my idea and ran with it.

The vintage feel of the bathroom (yes, this happened in a bathroom) paired perfectly with my vintage inspired outfit.

Don’t you think?

Plus, my sister did my hair and I can’t even handle it!

It’s been well over a month since my turquoise tips first graced Instagram with it’s presence, which means I am WAY past due for getting it done over. I really like this color and I’ve gotten SO many compliments, but I thinking about maybe switching it up. Maybe.

Styled by 5 featuring & Apparel

Last month, myself and four other boss blogger babes teamed up for the first ever Styled by 5.

Each month the five of us will style the same piece of clothing and since we all look and think differently from each other (hair, religion, location, skin, size, height, style…all of the above), you’ll get five totally different looks. That means you’ll get to see what I style, on other body types so you can find something that is best for you!

This top is one that I will be wearing over and over and over and over (you get the point) again.

That being said, I wasn’t exactly sure how I wanted to style it, but opted to pair it with leather shorts from Zara.

To keep it casual? Chucks.

Even though I’m not exactly thrilled that summer is “unofficially” over, this outfit is the perfect way for me to start (slowly) transitioning my look for the fall.

That and ice cream.

Ice cream helps.

And, because I know you’re all wondering, my adorbs necklace (which is adjustable) is from Conflicted Pixie.

If you buy one, tell them Bethany sent you. You won’t get anything, but how cool did that sound?

Styled by 5 featuring Shabby Apple

You know how I’ve been saying I want to start doing more style posts?

Well, I’ve teamed up with four other boss blogger babes to bring you Styled by 5!

The five of us will each style the same piece of clothing and since we all look and think differently from each other (hair, religion, location, skin, size, height, style…all of the above), you’ll get five totally different looks. That means you’ll get to see what I style, on other body types so you can find something that is best for you!

My style can (and has) been defined as traditional dramatic. I tend to vary between very classic things and super bold edgy pieces. Shabby Apple dresses are dreamy, and this one is timeless!

To add a little bit of drama to it I paired it with a Jenny Bird necklace from Rocksbox and leopard print flats. Even though technically, in theory, leopard tends to be considered a neutral, I don’t care. Leopard print is my favorite color.

So, what do you think? Is the little blue dress the new little black dress?

Maybe not, but that doesn’t make it any less cute!

Because, Wedding Season

Wedding season is basically upon us.

Get ready for…

Is it ever OK to wear white?

Do you think anyone will notice that I wore this to another wedding?

Is the venue air conditioned?

How short is too short?

Will this match the wedding party a little too much?

I try to avoid the stress by wearing two things.

Yep, two.

A dress.

And a sweater.

I know! How easy is that?

I bought this dress from T.J. Maxx when it was the day of and I couldn’t think of what to wear to a friend’s wedding. I ended up being late (UGH!) and vowed (sorry…) that I would never let that happen again.

Keep jewelry and makeup simple, remember you are not the bride.

This tennis bracelet Anjolee sent me is elegant and ideal.

Add matching heels and grab a clutch and you’ll never have to worry about what to wear again!

I personally don’t have any weddings to attend this wedding season. What’s really great about an outfit like this is that it can also be worn for a nice dinner date.
