Each month myself and four other boss blogger babes have been styling the same piece of clothing and since we all look and think differently from each other (hair, religion, location, skin, size, height, style…all of the above), you’ll get five totally different looks. That means you’ll get to see what I style, on other body types so you can find something that is best for you!

Peplum Tankini Outfit

Spring for me means one thing. That it’s almost summer. Bring on the sunshine, beach trips, and days by the pool! And thanks to Rad Swim, the Styled by 5 crew is ready. Even if the weather isn’t.

The temperatures in New England are finally going to start feeling like spring. While I don’t have any upcoming plans involving swimwear, I can’t wait until I do. Once that’s the case, I plan to find reasons to wear a bathing suit as often as I can!

This peplum tankini that Deidre, Kaylynn, Jacque, and Lauryn have all styled, has sequins that give it a little extra glitz. A really fun way to stand out. And if that doesn’t appeal so much to you, you can do so subtly, like Kaylynn and I, by opting for it in black.

The Styled by 5 crew is teaming up with Daniel Wellington to show you how we style our watches. Use the code TWENTYSOMETHINGPLUS to save 15% on your order from www.danielwellington.com and get a Daniel Wellington watch of your very own!

I loved watches when I was younger. Maybe it was a kid thing, maybe it was just me. Either way, I can remember getting my first ever watch, it was a Mickey Mouse one, where his arms were the hands of the clock and had a bright red band. I wouldn’t be surprised if my mom still has it tucked away in a drawer somewhere. Years later, the manfriend and I argued over getting his cousin a watch for Christmas. I won. Both the disagreement and Christmas that year.

Now that I’m older, I’ve found that I haven’t worn watch nearly as often as I used to. That is, at least not until getting this classic one from Daniel Wellington. When I say it goes with everything, I mean that it goes with literally EVERYTHING. You can wearing it with jeans, a dress, for date night, you name it!

For four more ideas on what to wear with your watch, check out Deidre, Kaylynn, Jacque, and Lauryn‘s blogs as well!

The amount of leggings I own is absurd. And that’s even after finally throwing out the ones with holes in them. I don’t wear leggings out very much, but there are some days when you just don’t want to put on jeans. Leggings are comfortable and easy. Plus the black ones go with everything.

The Styled by 5 crew is teaming up with SweetLegs to show you five ways to wear black leggings!

Leggings for me are what I wear when I have a lot to get done. In the house, or running around. It made sense for me to pair them with sneakers, a simple graphic t-shirt, and a comfy cardigan. And having tons to do means that I need my trusty Transport Tote.

PinkBlush Olive Green Trench Coat

Each month myself and four other boss blogger babes have been styling the same piece of clothing and since we all look and think differently from each other (hair, religion, location, skin, size, height, style…all of the above), you’ll get five totally different looks. That means you’ll get to see what I style, on other body types so you can find something that is best for you!

This month we all proved that neutrals can go with any piece to make a flawless outfit. We also proved that neutrals don’t have to be boring to look good. I personally have been wearing a ton of Madewell lately (in part because I work there, but mostly due to my love of their jeans), and I wasn’t going to change that now!

For me, the basis of a feel good outfit are feel good pieces that pop with out combating each other.

I love that the olive green color of this PinkBlush trench coat that Deidre, Kaylynn, JacqueLauryn, and I all styled, goes so well with stripes and a fun animal print. Knowing that it can also look just as fabulous with a little black dress makes it a closet must have!

Believe it or not, this skirt is actually a dress! This month, Deidre, Kaylynn, JacqueLauryn and I have partnered with Lettie Boutique to each style one of their fabulous floral midi dresses our own way. Since New England has already reached the point where layers are a requirement, add a warm, soft sweater was a must!

The dress is so comfortable that I didn’t want to take away from that. And the print is beautiful, so I made sure to keep the top both simple and neutral.

Dresses are nice, and when you can pull it off as a skirt (for warmth purposes or otherwise) that’s definitely a major win. It might even be possible to rock this dress as a shirt, making it a 3 in 1 piece, which is extremely beneficial for a minimalist or capsule wardrobe.

And for Black Friday, the entire shop will be 20% off with the code BLACK20, with free shipping on all orders, plus the first 50 orders will also get a free gift. There will also be doorbusters, stocking stuffers, and some FLASH sales starting at 6am MST on Friday morning that will run through Monday!

While Kaylynn was pregnant, she did a series on her blog, Among the Young, where she would wear non-maternity clothes. Even when she was very much so ready to pop, she looked absolutely fabulous!

Well, this is kind of like the opposite of that.

PinkBlush carries both non-maternity and maternity clothing for women. However, Deidre, Kaylynn, JacqueLauryn and I each styled this royal blue floral short sleeve maternity dress. Before you get any ideas, this is NOT a pregnancy announcement. I honestly wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about wearing a dress like this. But then, I got more compliments while taking photos for this blog post than any other outfit! Random strangers would pass by and say how beautiful it was.

It also didn’t hurt that it is super comfortable and had pockets. Because those are both very important details.

While white accessories go really well, the next time I wear my PinkBlush maternity dress, ankle boots will probably be involved.

On a hot summer day it’s nice to have a dress that’s airy. This Whimsical Floral Dress from Goldie’s that Deidre, Kaylynn, JacqueLauryn and I styled this month is so great for days when it’s so hot that you just can’t even.

Maybe because it’s July. Maybe because I didn’t already have an outfit with patriotic colors picked out to watch the fireworks on Independence Day. I don’t know. But, for some reason I feel the strong need to go red, white and blue.

This isn’t your standard holiday dress by any means. Yet, when paired with red heels, it works.

I initially wasn’t going to wear a belt. It felt like it was missing something to balance out the pop of the shoes. The belt helped to even out the look a little up top.

Don’t forget to check out how the other ladies are keeping it cool for the summer in this dress!

I want to say that I don’t like to play favorites. But we all know that’s not exactly true. I absolutely adore versatile pieces more than basically anything. This Love Winnie James Marina top really takes the cake.

Lightweight, but modest. I like that it can be layered if it’s cold or rocked solo if it’s hot. It’s not denim, although it kind of looks it. So I couldn’t stop myself from trying to go for a denim on “denim” look. I’m almost always cold, so even if the temperatures are way up, I’m not opposed to wearing jeans. Or, in this case, overalls.

There is zero doubt in my mind that this will be my absolute favorite shirt this summer!

Even though I chose to keep it simple for this look, there are so many more outfits that I have in store for how to wear this top. Deidre, Kaylynn, Jacque, and Lauryn really nailed their looks as well make sure to check out their blogs to see just how well! Any and everything is better with pockets. Especially dresses and skirts, like this one from Honey & Lace. The color and pattern make it amazing for spring. I’ve already worn it to church and received some of the best compliments!

For this month’s Styled by 5, I styled it how I’d wear it for an everyday look. During the warmer days, my jean jacket gets a lot of wear (and some tear). And the heels are chunky, so they’re a little more practical that some of my other pairs.

I usually prefer pencil skirts over a-line, but after wearing it a few times, I have to say that I may have just had a serious change of heart.

I know I’m going to be checking out how Deidre, Kaylynn, Jacque, and Alexis, styled it, make sure you do too!

Not only because this is my 300th blog post, but this Styled by 5 is a little extra special. This month we’ve partnered up with Jane, to style this Cents of Style foil gold graphic tee.

This month my outfit is all about dressing up the casual. Casual doesn’t have to be boring, which is a misconception that many people have.

Jeans and a tee can mean a lot of things, by opting for camo print Zara bottoms and adding a blazer and heels, you have a look that can be worn to brunch or a night out.

Change into a pair of Converse and you easily run all your errands, while still looking super chic.

There is going to be something fun happening over on Jane’s Instagram a little later today, so make sure to be on the lookout for that. And, as always, don’t forget to check out Deidre, Kaylynn, Jacque, and Alexis, Styled by 5 posts too!
