Shop Small Business Saturday

One thing that living in Vermont has taught me is to support both local and small businesses.

While that doesn’t mean that I will be skipping out on Black Friday, judge if you must…what it does mean is that I will also be supporting Small Business Saturday.

My New Suede Shoes

I like to shop.

Scratch that.

I like to go shopping.

I don’t go very often, so when I do go, I tend go a little crazy…

My most recent shopping excursion was to the Wrentham Outlets with the manfriend’s sister. She is a horrible influence on me…

…but in her defense, I got some great new additions to my wardrobe + just in time for fall.

The Poshmark App

If you’re anything like me, then you have a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear.

I have a small closet, so I have a massive overflow and I don’t even wear all of it!

I came across an article this summer in a magazine (I can’t for the life of me remember which one, but if I do I’ll make sure to update!) about closet clutter and how to reduce it, one suggestion was the app Poshmark. I signed up and found that not only could I make money while getting rid of clothes that I wasn’t wearing, but I could also buy things second hand, in great condition, and at a fraction of the retail cost! I didn’t know what to do with myself…so many great features! While there are some minor draw backs as with anything (think eBay) it really is a great community to be apart of and is so worth checking out!
