This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Macy’s; but as always, the thoughts and opinions expressed here are my own.
I may not be going to NYFW this year, but that doesn’t mean that I’m not getting my fashion fix.
Macy’s Fashion’s Front Row is bringing Fashion Week to Boston!
Get a preview of the latest Macy’s Fall Fashion looks from you favorite designers. One on one style advice from Macy’s pros. It’s supposed to be one of the biggest shopping parties of the season! Trust me, you won’t want to miss it. I know I don’t.
I almost never post twice in one day, but when one of your favorite beauty bloggers tags you for a ‘This or That’ post, you do it. Thanks, Kristina!
How This or That works:
1. State who tagged you (provide link) Answer all the questions.
2. Select one ‘This or That’ question for all your readers to answer.
3. Tag 4 others to answer ALL of the “this or that” questions on their blogs (provide links)… They say you really get to know people when they’re put in tight situations. Today’s “This or That” is going to do just that!”
Any other fellow bloggers that want to are more than welcome to consider themselves tagged!
Not a blogger + not tagged?
It’s OK, you can still comment! And I’d be interested to know your answer for number 29!
Summer is my favorite season, but I love the layering options that fall provides.
Every now and then fall is the perfect temperature, not too cold or windy, where you can get away with wearing a sweater and shorts without tights.
At 57 degrees, today was one of those days.
Not only did I switch up my do, with platinum twists, I decided to go gray with my outfit, and rock neutrals.
Keeping warm with wool shorts and a faux fur vest.
Purse by Zara purchased using the Poshmark app. Vest by Madewell, Steve Madden booties and sweater by Forever 21, also purchased via Poshmark. Short from Gap Outlet.
When I got the Go-To Style Guide, I thought why not challenge myself to try each of the style looks featured in the special issue. So that’s what I did!
This past Friday (which would have been my first day back in the office) and Monday I had off to attend a wedding, so today was my first day back in the office.
What does one wear when going to back to work after two months off?
A dress. Obvi.
While this #ootd is very simplistic, I like it because the dress is by eShakti, so I was able customize it!
I got to pick the neckline, the sleeves, and who doesn’t want a dress with pockets?!
AND my necklace was custom made by Oh So Antsy, a very talented friend I made at Alt Summit!
Still can’t believe that my summer is over! Anyone else have the summer off?
Aside from the fact that it goes along with my personal mission to be more sustainable, I really enjoy the community. I mean even the New York Times knows that the awesomeness of Poshmark is worth mention.
This Zara tux blazer, J. Crew graphic tee, Zara flats, and custom camo clutch (an @ellebee206 exclusive) are all “poshfinds” (short for Poshmark finds, which is literally items that you find on Poshmark).
Check out my Other Stuff page to explore some of my favorite closets on Poshmark!
Lately, I haven’t been feeling very inspired. So, when the manfriend asked me what I wanted to do (which he does everyday, it’s one of our things…), I said walk around town. Usually, I respond with something outrageous that we could never do, but I figured why not explore Poultney.
(Chambray Dress: Old Navy, Gladiator Sandals: Charlotte Russe (this style is longer available, but you can get similar + even better ones here), Bag: Kelly Moore, Sunglasses: Foster Grant, Nail Wraps: Scratch)
We didn’t do too much, but I did enjoy a strawberry smoothie from Café Pazienza + a Full Belly Deli Pepperjack Bacon Melt (the sandwich that turned me on to sandwiches). And if you know anything about my relationship with the manfriend, you know that movie nights are another one of our things, so we picked up three movies. You don’t have to go all out to have an inspiringly uplifting day.
This is what happens when you pack in the pitch dark, because your power went out thanks to a storm.
If you’re not sure what I’m getting at by that, let me explain. The shirt was a rescue from the manfriend’s sister’s to be donated pile. I grabbed it since I didn’t have anything else to wear, and cut off the sleeves + just threw it over a basic H&M dress.
The Converses we share. I think they were originally mine (or maybe my little brother’s), but I gave them to her, and she never wears them but when I visit I do sometimes.
With the Fourth of July being this weekend, I started to think about what I was going to wear to all the BBQs, parties + fireworks.
I get really excited about holidays because they can inspire some pretty great + creative outfits. Hey, any excuse to dress festively!
When I think about Independence Day, I think red, white and blue, so I styled four different red, white and blue looks. While I don’t expect anyone to want to copy any of these looks exactly, I hope that they can still spark (pun fully intended, ain’t no shame in my game) some outfit inspo!
Nothing in this post is new or even recently purchased, everything was already in my closet (or on my bedroom floor)…except for the Birkenstocks, I got them on Poshmark about a week or two ago + have worn them pretty much everyday since.
